Job summary

Epic Markets in Dubai seeks a Head of CFD Trading to lead a 24/7 dealing team and oversee the firm’s CFD trading book, ensuring client flow, market risks, and hedging align with strategy.

Reporting to the Head of Quantitative CFD Trading, you will collaborate with quantitative research and technology teams to optimize exposures, hedging, and automation while upholding strict risk governance across global markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in CFD dealing, market making, or leveraged trading across multiple asset classes.
• Proven ability to supervise a 24/7 or multi-shift dealing desk with real-time risk oversight.
• Collaboration with quantitative researchers and developers to analyze client flow and implement hedging strategies.
• Hands-on technical literacy in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, SQL).

Responsibilities

• Recruit, lead, and mentor a 24/7 global dealing team.
• Maintain continuous oversight of live trading book, exposures, and margin utilization.
• Direct hedging across asset classes and liquidity providers; assess costs and execution quality.
• Define procedures, controls, and escalation protocols for manual and automated trading.
• Partner with Quantitative Research to translate dealing challenges into research and risk models.
• Work with tech to define risk dashboards and automate workflows with human oversight.
• Establish KPIs and scale trading infrastructure for growth and broader asset coverage.
