Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance or related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in product management, development or related roles within the payments industry.
• Proven track record of launching and managing card products in a competitive market environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for ADIB card products portfolio aligning with business objectives and market trends.
• Identify opportunities for product differentiation and innovation to enhance ADIB competitive position in the market.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the conceptualization, design and development of new card products and features.
• Collaborate with technology, marketing, compliance and Sharia and operations teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.
• Define product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria based on market research and customer feedback.
• Establish KPIs and metrics to measure performance and success of card products.
• Analyze product performance data and market trends to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.

Role : Head of Cards Product
Location : Dubai
Role Purpose:
Lead the development and management of ADIB card products. Should have a deep understanding of the payments industry exceptional leadership abilities and a proven track record of driving product innovation and growth. The Cards Product Head will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of card products driving product development initiatives and ensuring the delivery of best-in-class card solutions to customers

Key Accountabilities of the role

• RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for ADIB card products portfolio aligning with business objectives and market trends.
• Identify opportunities for product differentiation and innovation to enhance ADIB competitive position in the market.
• Continuously monitor industry developments and customer needs to take informed product strategy and roadmap decisions.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the conceptualization design and development of new card products and features.
• Collaborate with technology marketing compliance and Sharia and operations teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.
• Define product requirements user stories and acceptance criteria based on market research and customer feedback.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the performance and success of card products.
• Analyze product performance data user feedback and market trends to identify opportunities for product optimization and enhancement.
• Implement strategies to drive card product adoption usage and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards governing card products and payments.
• Work closely with compliance and risk management teams to mitigate regulatory and operational risks associated with card products.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders including senior management sales teams and customer support teams.
• Collaborate with external partners vendors and payment networks to drive strategic partnerships and alliances that support the growth of ADIB card products business.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:

• Understand the market / industry dynamics and key drivers of market conditions.
• Deep knowledge of UAE Banking practices Regulations and Risks
• Deep understanding of card payments including credit cards debit cards prepaid cards and emerging payment technologies.
• Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and market dynamics.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards governing card products and payments (e.g. PCI DSS EMVCo).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends to inform product strategy and decision-making.

Previous experience required (if any)

• Bachelors degree in business administration Marketing Finance or related field
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in product management product development or related roles within the payments industry.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing card products in a competitive market environment
