Job description

Head of Business Excellence & Digital Transformation

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Business Excellence & Digital Transformation to lead organizational transformation initiatives. This role is crucial in enhancing operational efficiency, fostering continuous improvement, and establishing governance and service excellence frameworks for a major semi-government organization in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shared services, BPO, or similar high-performance environments, with proven success in process automation and business performance enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Excellence & Transformation: Develop and implement enterprise-wide strategies for business excellence, promote continuous improvement methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, & Kaizen, and cultivate a culture of innovation.
  2. Automation & Digital Enablement: Identify automation opportunities, collaborate with IT and business leaders to deploy digital solutions, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  3. Operational & Business Performance: Manage KPIs related to service delivery, costs, and customer satisfaction; utilize data analytics for decision-making.
  4. Process Improvement & Service Excellence: Re-engineer business processes to eliminate inefficiencies and promote a customer-first approach.
  5. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Lead cross-functional teams, align initiatives with business strategies, and engage stakeholders effectively.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Over 10 years of experience in transformation or operational excellence roles, preferably in shared services/BPO environments.
  • Deep knowledge of automation technologies like RPA, workflow engines, and digital initiatives.
  • Proven experience in governance and policy framework design.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in complex, global, matrixed organizations.
