  • Examine capital budget requests and coordinate approvals.
  • Maintain budgeting policies and supervise inventory analysis.

Job description

Supervise, monitor and develop the operations related to budget accounting and inventory as well of developing effective managerial accounting policies and processes to achieve the organization's objectives and vision.

Responsibilities
  1. Act as an advisor to department managers in formulating their budget submissions
  2. Review proposed budget submissions from department managers for accuracy and completeness
  3. Examine capital budget requests and issue recommendations to the approval committee
  4. Coordinate capital budgeting approvals
  5. Review the budget model for calculation errors
  6. Update the budget model as requested to account for significant changes in the business environment
  7. Maintain the budgeting policies and procedures manual
  8. Supervise the organization storing/archiving monitoring system from spare parts and fuel compulsion
  9. Supervise the analysis of annual, periodical and sudden inventorying
