Job summary

Aldar Academies in Abu Dhabi invites an experienced art teacher to join our international school community. You will plan lessons to deliver outstanding progress, create a positive learning climate, and align with the English National Curriculum and UAE regulations.

The role requires a minimum of 6 years teaching Art, UK secondary level experience, and the ability to support students for whom English is not their first language. Commitment to safeguarding and high standards is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree and PGCE Education certification.
Experience teaching Art and English National Curriculum.
Experience teaching UK secondary level is essential; international school experience an advantage.

Responsibilities

Teach allocated students by planning lessons to achieve outstanding progression of learning.
Create a climate conducive to outstanding Learning and Teaching.
Identify learning objectives and specify how they will be taught and assessed.
Set tasks that challenge students and maintain high interest.
