About the Role

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious educational institution in Al AinUAE for the position of Head of Arabic Department (HOD). This leadership role requires a dedicated and experienced Arabic educator who is passionate about language education and departmental development. The successful candidate must be ADEK-qualified fluent in Arabic and possess a strong command of English.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the Arabic Language Department ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning.
Develop review and implement curriculum plans aligned with ADEK standards and institutional goals.
Mentor and guide Arabic language teachers in best instructional practices.
Monitor student performance and design interventions to support academic success.
Coordinate with school management on academic planning reporting and compliance with regulatory bodies.
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous professional development.
Organize departmental meetings and contribute to broader school initiatives.

Requirements

Fluent in Arabic with proficient English communication (spoken and written)
ADEK-approved teaching qualification is mandatory
Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Arabic Language Education or a related field
