Job summary

Inception, a G42 company, seeks a Lead Applied Scientist to steer advanced AI research and guide teams in building transformative deep-learning and generative AI solutions. You will architect next-generation AI systems, drive innovation pipelines, and mentor a team of scientists and engineers to deliver high-impact breakthroughs aligned with Inception’s mission.

You’ll define the applied AI roadmap, lead model design across vision, language, audio, and sensor data, and collaborate with product

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or AI-related discipline.
• 10–12 years of AI research and product development experience.
• 3+ years leading R&D teams or major AI projects.
• Track record of large-scale AI model design and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Define applied AI research roadmap and innovation strategy.
• Lead development of generative and deep-learning models across modalities.
• Mentor scientists and engineers to reach R&D milestones.
• Partner with product and engineering to deploy research into products.
• Represent Inception in external forums and partnerships.
• Measure impact via deployment efficiency, IP generation, and customer outcomes.
