MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To lead and manage the nursing team in providing patient-centric and evidence-based nursing care, ensuring operational efficiency and positive patient experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Provide strong leadership and management guidance to the team.
• Ensure evidence-based patient care practices are followed according to clinical standards.
• Create a positive patient care experience by developing employees and fostering team engagement.
• Manage allocated clinical and non-clinical resources efficiently and cost-effectively to enhance safe patient care.
• Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and clinical standards to support continuous quality improvement.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential : Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized or accredited Nursing Institute.

Valid BLS certificate.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential : At least 5 years of IVF nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital or clinic.

Desired : 3-5 years of senior nursing experience.

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to implement all five stages of the Scientific Nursing Process (assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation).
• Application of the nursing scope of practice as stipulated in the regulatory framework.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and computer literacy.
• Competence in assessing all nursing procedures.
• Ability to operate key clinical equipment used in the clinic.
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient care and nursing management.
• Knowledge of relevant Acts, statutory regulations, and directives, and their application in managing the nursing team/unit.
• Ability to control expenses cost-effectively.
• Understanding of external standards and managing compliance.
• Knowledge of risk management principles, systems, and best practices.
• Stock control principles and management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
