Qualifications

JUMEIRAH RESTAURANT GROUP DUBAI (JRG Dubai) manages restaurants and bars that feature diverse culinary delights, appealing to various tastes and occasions. Venues include Pai Thai, Butcha Turkish Steakhouse & Grill, and The Noodle House. JRG Dubai operates through management contracts, joint ventures, white label arrangements, and franchise agreements.

About the Job:

  1. Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained to the required standards; report and coordinate repairs with the maintenance team when necessary.
  2. Arrange and follow up on all Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) for repairs and supplies.
  3. Source seasonal ingredients from the best suppliers within budget and build relationships with central purchasing.
  4. Develop and update menus seasonally, ensuring creativity and quality using premium ingredients; organize and participate in menu tastings.
  5. Oversee cleaning schedules, ensuring standards are met; address deficiencies immediately with responsible parties, following up until resolution.
  6. Contribute to initiatives aimed at increasing business levels and collaborate with the marketing team for promotional activities.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, with a focus on specific cuisine.
  • Experience managing standalone or branded restaurants.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with local and international suppliers.
  • People management skills.
