Job description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Specialty Outlet Chef to lead the culinary team at our vibrant gastropub. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, leadership, and a deep understanding of modern pub cuisine, ensuring exceptional food quality and a memorable dining experience for our guests. Your role will include key responsibilities such as:

  1. Supervising the outlet kitchen in the preparation and presentation of all food items in accordance with the hotel’s SOPs and standardized menu guidelines.
  2. Monitoring regular standards of production to ensure the highest level of quality.
  3. Monitoring all aspects pertaining to the control of the hotel’s food cost.
  4. Participating in the drafting of concept ideas and menus for all special events and functions, encouraging all employees to contribute ideas and utilizing them where practical.
  5. Ensuring HACCP standards are implemented and hygiene standards are maintained as per Municipality requirements at all times.
  6. Providing consistent on-the-job training for culinary colleagues and promoting health and safety.
