Job description

Within the ME Fine Jewellery & Timepieces team, the FJ&T Merchandiser Assistant will support the Jewellery & Timepieces category by ensuring the performance of retail boutiques within the ME network and optimizing boutique supply and collection sell-through.

The FJ&T Core Business Merchandiser will work closely with the retail network, Training Department, as well Central teams from Paris (Business Unit, Supply Chain…).

Job responsibilities

Merchandising Functions

• Analysis :
• Review and support running daily / weekly / monthly sales reports : generate a variety of Excel based reports; store and business recaps, ensure tracking to sales targets
• Analyze the network and identify growth drivers / sales opportunities
• Analyze the market and prepare comprehensive monthly recaps on trends, launches, market activities, and events
• Support compilation of analysis prior to buying session
• Manage and follow up daily on product shipping and deliveries
• Support stores stock requests and rebalance stock depending on stores performances
• Communicate and partner closely with Retail teams to manage day to day product inquiries
• Support the creation of selling tools
• Administrative : Follow up on After-Sales Service cases & generate monthly reports

Profile

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES :

• Business school Student or equivalent university level
• First significant experience in an analytical position (ideally in Retail Merchandising or Business analyst)
• Strong passion for the fashion and luxury industry
• Rigorous approach with quantitative data
• Analytical mindset
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Effectively and professionally communicate with Boutique teams
• Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
