Job summary

Jumeirah Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Head Baker to lead the main kitchen’s breads, pastries, and desserts for luxury settings. You will train and manage bakery staff, ensure product quality, and drive creative menus aligned with hotel standards.

The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of bakery/pastry production experience, preferably in high-end hotels, and hold a Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in bakery/pastry production, preferably in luxury hotels or high-volume operations.
• Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry, or equivalent.
• Experience training and supervising bakery staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and supervise the daily production of breads, pastries, and desserts according to hotel standards.
• Train, manage, and coordinate bakery staff to ensure efficiency, consistency, and adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain and monitor the quality, presentation, and freshness of all bakery products.
• Monitor stock levels, order ingredients, and minimize waste while ensuring consistent supply of high-quality materials.
• Innovate and develop new recipes, seasonal items, and special products for hotel restaurants, buffets, and events.
