Job summary

Apparel Group in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective civil and building fabric maintenance, ensuring safety, quality, and operational readiness of facilities. You will respond to repair requests, inspect for defects, and support day-to-day maintenance activities with the site team.

Responsibilities include carpentry, aluminum works, glass installation, masonry, painting touch-ups, and basic drawings interpretation.

Qualifications

Secondary School Certificate, ITI, Diploma in Civil, Carpentry, Building Maintenance, Electro Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
1-5 years of experience in Facilities Management, Building Maintenance, Civil Maintenance, or related environment.
Practical experience in carpentry, aluminum works, glass installation, masonry, painting touch-ups, and gypsum board repairs.
Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, measurements, and maintenance instructions.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to civil and building maintenance.

Responsibilities

Civil Maintenance & Repair Works including installation, repair, and maintenance of doors, frames, cabinets, partitions and related fittings.
Build operations & maintenance support: respond to requests, inspect issues, and perform routine maintenance.
Safety, Quality & Compliance: follow procedures, use tools safely, and maintain a clean work environment.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement: maintain records, monitor materials, and support backlogs reduction.
