Job Description: As a Hairstylist, you will play a key role in providing professional hair care and styling services to our clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation:
  • Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their hair care needs, preferences, and lifestyle factors.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations on suitable haircuts, styles, colors, and treatments based on clients' hair type, face shape, and skin tone.
• Haircutting and Styling:
  • Perform a variety of hair cutting and styling techniques, including precision cuts, layering, texturizing, and razor cutting.
  • Use professional tools and equipment to achieve desired hair styles, such as scissors, razors, clippers, and styling products.
• Hair Coloring and Treatment:
  • Administer hair coloring services, including highlights, balayage, ombre, and full-color treatments, using professional hair color products.
  • Recommend and apply hair treatments, such as conditioning treatments, keratin treatments, and hair masks, to improve hair health and appearance.
• Hair Extensions and Specialized Services:
  • Offer hair extension services, including installation, blending, and maintenance, to clients seeking length or volume enhancement.
  • Provide specialized services, such as bridal hair styling, event styling, and hair straightening or curling treatments, as requested by clients.
• Customer Service and Client Retention:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for clients from booking to completion of services.
  • Build rapport with clients, establish long-term relationships, and encourage repeat business through excellent service and personalized recommendations.
• Product Knowledge and Sales:
  • Stay updated on the latest hair care products, tools, and trends in the industry.
  • Educate clients on proper hair care techniques and recommend retail products for at-home maintenance.
  • Support retail sales efforts by promoting salon products and achieving sales targets.
• Sanitation and Cleanliness:
  • Adhere to salon sanitation and hygiene standards to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Sterilize and disinfect tools, equipment, and workstations regularly to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Formal training and certification from a recognized cosmetology or hairstyling school.
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience working as a hairstylist in a salon environment.
