Hair Care Specialist (Organic Hair Spa Treatments & Keratin)

The duties and responsibilities of a hair care specialist encompass many different aspects that range from customer service to technical expertise to product knowledge. The general duties include:

• Welcoming customers and ensuring that they’re comfortable
• Keeping up-to-date knowledge of the different types of hair treatments (Such as Argan / Keratin / Rebonding)
• Advising clients on suitable treatments
• Washing, conditioning, and applying the treatment
• Cleaning workstations and sanitising equipment throughout the day
• Maintaining an adequate inventory of hair products and tools

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Good verbal skills, so they can effectively advise clients
• The ability to work a flexible schedule
• Patience and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Physical stamina in order to handle long hours on their feet
• Good time management skills, so that clients are not kept waiting
• Good product knowledge of up-to-date hair treatments/chemicals & application procedures
