Job Description

• Install gypsum partitions, ceilings (plain, drop, and decorative), bulkheads, and feature walls.
• Cut, shape, and install gypsum boards as per design drawings and specifications.
• Fabricate and install ceiling grids (T-bar and channel systems).
• Prepare framework using metal channels, angles, studs, and supports.
• Apply joint compound, sanding, and finishing to achieve smooth surfaces.
• Ensure alignment, leveling, and proper fixation of boards and frames.
• Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, and other trades (e.g., MEP).
• Follow site safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Measure and mark cutting lines using levels, tape measures, and other tools.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Gypsum Carpenter or Ceiling Installer.
• Skilled in the use of carpentry tools, cutting tools, drills, levels, and measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and sketches.
• Experience with both metal furring and gypsum board systems.
• Physical fitness and ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and in overhead spaces.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures on construction sites.
• Previous experience working in the UAE or GCC region.
• Experience with acoustic panels, moisture-resistant boards, and decorative ceiling systems.
• Basic knowledge of drywall maintenance and repairs.
