Responsibilities include prenatal and postnatal care, performing gynecologic procedures, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams while ensuring high standards of safety, ethics, and documentation.

Qualifications

• MD/MS or equivalent in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
• Valid DHA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Experience with routine and high-risk pregnancies and gynecologic care.
• Proficient in patient counseling, documentation and adherence to guidelines.
• Postgraduate qualifications and hospital/clinic experience in UAE/GCC are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient gynecology and obstetrics care.
• Conduct examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and perform procedures.
• Manage prenatal, antenatal and postnatal care in multidisciplinary teams.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Gynecologist (DHA-licensed) role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Gynecologist will provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care in gynecology and obstetrics, including consultations, diagnosis, and management of female reproductive health conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, performing gynecologic procedures and surgeries, and managing prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care. The role also involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining accurate medical records, ensuring adherence to DHA and international clinical guidelines, and providing patient education on reproductive health, family planning, and preventive care. The Gynecologist is expected to participate in quality improvement activities and uphold high standards of patient safety, ethics, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine with demonstrated clinical competence in patient assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment.
• Advanced expertise in Gynecology and Obstetrics, including management of routine and high-risk pregnancies, reproductive health disorders, and preventive care.
• Proficiency in Gynecologic Surgery and general Surgery relevant to women’s health, including minimally invasive procedures and operative management of gynecologic conditions.
• Valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license or eligibility to obtain one, with board certification or equivalent in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to counsel patients and families in a clear, respectful, and culturally sensitive manner.
• Commitment to maintaining accurate medical documentation and compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and ethical guidelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams and adapt to fast-paced clinical environments.
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications (e.g., MD, MS, or equivalent in Obstetrics and Gynecology) and prior experience in hospital or clinic settings in the UAE or GCC region are highly beneficial.
