Gym Managerto join the
Health Club Teamin
Jumeirah Saadiyat Island. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Oversee and maintain high standards of cleanliness in all fitness and activity areas in of Health Club
- To plan / organize and direct the overall operation of the Gym, maintaining established quality standards.
- To plan, implement and promote activities throughout the Gym including special events and fitness programs based on the vision of the hotel and demand of members
- Maintaining the Jumeirah high levels of customer service with the focus of avoiding the loss of existing members and achieving set customer service standards
- Delivering fitness training, group classes and personal training where applicable
- To actively promote and encourage participation of guests and gym members in activities
- Monitoring the fitness levels of the Personal Trainers to ensure that they are adhering to set personal fitness standards
- Monitor the new member journey tracker and ensure that all PT’s are following the set standards
- Take ownership and responsibility for financial growth and development and controlled performance, in order to ensure sustainability.
- To manage the operation and all employees in a fair and professional manner, concentrating on development of the business and employee skills.
- Handling guest feedback, incidents and guest complaint procedures.
- Generate sponsorship revenues to subsidize events and activities
- Develop membership strategies, membership applications and approval processes
About You:
- Minimum Diploma Level Management Qualification
- Certified personal trainer certificate level 3 and fitness instructor registered with Register of Exercise Professions (UAE) or similar with an equivalent of REPS level 3
- High level of social and interpersonal skills
- Highly developed organizational skills
- Calm under pressure
- Fitness + body & body practice techniques
- Business acumen, creative thinking and problem-solving
