Job summary

The St. Regis Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer under the guidance of the Nation Riviera Manager to uphold the highest standards of professionalism.

You will promote personal training and ensure safe use of all gym equipment. Responsibilities include developing fitness systems, delivering exceptional service, maintaining equipment, attending trainings, and motivating clients with regular assessments and updated programs.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• CPR Certification and First Aid Certification are required.
• UAE Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer Certificate Level 3 is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop fitness systems and keep them up to date.
• Sell and promote personal training and achieve revenue goals.
• Provide direct support to the Manager and ensure effective service for the Fitness area.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained correctly.
• Monitor and coach exercise techniques for safety and correct use of equipment.
• Attend trainings and department meetings as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for users.
• Motivate clients with regular fitness assessments and updated programs.

Job Requirement

Under the guidance of the Nation Riviera Manager, to ensure the maintenance of the highest standards of professionalism in all aspects of the operation. To ensure all clientele are given the highest standard of fitness instruction required. Cross promotion of the Recreation offerings and Nation Riviera memberships.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• To help with the development of the Fitness systems and procedures and to make sure that they are kept up to date on a regular basis.
• To sell and promote personal training and achieve set revenue goals linked to the same
• To provide direct personal assistance/support to the Manager whenever appropriate and to ensure the provision of an effective service for the Fitness area.
• Must make sure that all equipment used is maintained correctly.
• To be vigilant with exercise techniques ensuring safe usage of all equipment and the gym area, offering assistance where it is needed.
• Must attend all training courses and department meetings as deemed necessary and must adhere to training as set down by the Manager.
• To ensure a clean, maintained and safe environment for the safety, comfort and enjoyment of its users.
• To continually encourage and motivate our clients in the pursuit of their fitness goals through regular fitness assessment and regular updated exercise programs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: 2-years of work experience in a luxury hotel.
