Hyatt Place Madison/Downtown is seeking a guest service professional to deliver courteous, personalized service and ensure guest satisfaction.

You will be flexible to rotate within Rooms division and other departments, balance cash handling, and support supervisors with duties while maintaining grooming and a positive attitude.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for creating lasting memories for guests.

Qualifications

• Responsible to welcome all guests, ensuring they have an exceptional staying experience; creating lasting memories and building relationships.
• You will bring our purpose to life, by using your personal flair and style when interacting with our guests.
• Ideally you have a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
• Minimum 2 years work experience in hotel operations.
• Good customer service, communications and interpersonal skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with hotel policies to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Be rotated within the Rooms division or other departments as assigned and as necessary.
• Ensure guests are offered the highest level of personalized service and report complaints if no immediate solution is found.
• Balance cash reports and remittance envelopes; perform opening and closing procedures.
• Check and update room allocations and accommodate special guest requirements; maintain regular contact with long stay and suite guests.
