About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Guest Services Executive to join the Front Office Team in Jumeirah Al Qasr. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  1. Providing check-in and check-out assistance. Assisting in pre-registration activities or extended stay requests. Manage Group bookings and check in and check out following standard protocols as applicable to respective domains.
  2. Ensure that the guest is promptly allotted the assigned room courteously. Instruct the bell desk to escort the guest directly to the room/suite after proceeding with the check-in formalities.
  3. Accurately and professionally communicate rates associated with facilities, products, and services, utilize suggestive selling techniques, demonstrate advantages, and create value for our guests.
  4. Carry out cashiering duties like foreign currency exchange, paid-outs etc.
  5. Handle and maintain the cash float, take full responsibility for it ensuring that it is always balanced.
  6. Maintain the privacy of all guests by ensuring that no details of the guests are disclosed to anybody.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 2 years of Concierge, Guest Relations, or Front Office experience in a 5-star hotel setting.
  2. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Opera PMS (Cloud), HotSoS, and Sevenrooms.
  3. Clear and effective communication skills in English and additional international languages.
  4. Demonstrated ability to perform tasks with meticulous attention to detail, coupled with effective organizational skills for handling multiple responsibilities.
