Job Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring that all guests receive warm, friendly, courteous, informative, and efficient service. The role focuses on personal recognition of guests, especially those booked in an executive room, aiming to exceed their expectations, anticipate their needs, and create a memorable experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcome and check guests into the hotel following the established procedures of JA The Resort.
- Bid farewell to all departing guests.
- Provide welcome drinks and cold towels to guests.
- Monitor and coordinate the sequence of guest check-in and check-out.
- Ensure a personalized check-in and check-out process, with knowledge of Protel and various payment methods.
- Achieve daily targets for room/meal plan upselling, JA Discovery, and cross-selling.
- Maintain active lobby management, assist guests with inquiries, and guide them to responsible team members.
- Provide accurate information about resort facilities and guest accommodations to ensure guest satisfaction according to JA The Resort standards.
- Handle complaints and comments promptly.
- Input correct data into Protel to develop and maintain a comprehensive guest history system.
- Ensure all data entries for DTCM requirements are completed according to procedures.
- Maintain effective communication with related departments for smooth service delivery.
- Promote JA Discovery loyalty program and encourage guest enrollment.
- Complete all tasks and resolve any issues as per the daily resort host task list.
- Anticipate and meet guest needs, attending to further requirements professionally.
- Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of the lobby and interior.
- Conduct evening candle-lighting rituals in the lobby.
- Perform any other assignments given by superiors.
- Escort VIPs (VIP1, 2, and 7) to rooms upon arrival.
- Arrange for special occasions.
- Ensure the Guest Well-being report is actioned with courteous follow-up calls and meetings.
- Print guest invoices to accompany departure letters for room delivery.
- Conduct daily resort tours to familiarize guests with facilities.
- Attend to all guest requests, coordinating with other departments as needed.
- Assist in planning and organizing guests' holiday itineraries.
- Stay updated on resort facilities, activities, outlet hours, and events, conveying accurate information to guests.
