Job description

A Front Desk Receptionist at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre welcomes guests, assists with arrival and departure procedures, provides current information, and manages requests via hotel communication systems (telephone, email, etc.).

What will I be doing?

As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will work with the Guest Services and Front Office Teams to ensure guest needs are met upon arrival and departure, providing a comfortable stay by accommodating information requests and guest assistance. Your tasks will include:

  1. Welcoming guests and managing check-in processes for individual and group arrivals
  2. Completing check-out procedures for departing guests using hotel systems
  3. Handling guest requests, inquiries, and complaints efficiently
  4. Maintaining knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing, promotions, VIP, and special events
  5. Maximizing sales through up-selling and marketing programs
  6. Managing incoming communications, including reservations via phone and electronic systems
