Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role within the hotel industry, preferably in a five-star property.
• Proficient in all manner of carpentry, interior design and FF&E repair, refurbishment, and maintenance.
• The ability to use all general repair tools, read shop drawings and specifications, make rough estimates of required materials.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upkeep all decorations, furniture, and related items to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain highest standards for maintenance and safe operations of issued tools and equipment.
• Adhere to strict grooming and appearance as per hotel standards.
• Collaborate with guest room technicians to ensure maintenance requests are completed on time.
• Operate safely and environmentally friendly to protect health and safety.
• Comply with hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
