Job summary

Work standard is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain guest rooms, common areas and back-of-house spaces. You will restock linens and amenities, follow sanitation protocols, and assist with laundry as needed.

The role requires basic English communication, ability to work independently, physical fitness, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays. Accommodation is not provided, and candidates from within the city or willing to relocate at their own expense are welcome.

Qualifications

• Basic English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physically fit to perform cleaning tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain designated areas including guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Ensure all linens and amenities are restocked in guest rooms.
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to management.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and inform management when restocking is needed.
