What Does a Guest Relations Supervisor Do?
As Guest Relations Supervisor, your focus is to ensure an exceptional guest experience by promoting service excellence, supporting team development, and maintaining high operational standards. You will serve as a key point of contact for guests while supervising front-of-house teams to ensure smooth and memorable stays.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Deliver warm, prompt, and professional assistance to all guests
- Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively to enhance satisfaction
- Support colleagues with care and flexibility across departments as needed
- Assist with scheduling, recruitment, departmental training, and orientation
- Conduct regular staff appraisals, provide coaching, and address development needs
- Promote a strong morale within the guest services team
- Ensure compliance with statutory fire, health, and safety regulations
- Monitor service standards and coach team members to uphold luxury hospitality expectations
- Identify and report workplace hazards and ensure timely follow-up on maintenance issues
- Drive internal sales awareness and encourage upselling when appropriate
- Help control departmental operating costs without compromising guest experience
- Support your manager in executing department strategy and delivering training
What Skills Are Needed for a Guest Relations Supervisor in Abu Dhabi?
Education: Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent qualification
Experience: Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in guest relations or front office operations. Prior international hotel experience is highly preferred.

- Proficient in hotel systems, including Opera, MS Word, and Excel
