Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park, a preopening hotel, is looking for a service-oriented Guest Relations Officer (UAE National only) to join their extraordinary team! Ideally located in the heart of Dubai Science Park, in the most sought-after residential area of Dubai. Minutes away from mega malls, magnificent Jumeirah Beaches, world’s leading tourist attractions and parks, autodrome and over 5 championship golf courses. The newly opened Holiday Inn & Suites at Dubai Science Park includes 240 hotel rooms and suites and 84 one-bedroom apartments, anchor F&B offerings and an extensive 1026sqm cutting-edge meeting and events facilities.

Your day to day

  1. Under the general direction of the Front Office Manager and within the limits of the established InterContinental Hotels Group and local policies and procedures, responsible to liaise between operational departments to ensure that guest preferences are met and exceeded.
  2. Responsible for all activities relevant to the Front Office department such as VIP relations, rooming of guests, assisting with show rounds to achieve the highest possible guest satisfaction to current and future VIPs.
  3. Addressing and escalating customer complaints.
  4. Providing information about facilities, programs, and other services.
  5. Present in the lobby, ensures each and every guest is greeted with a smile.
  6. Welcome and hospitality to all guests passing through the lobby.
  7. Escorts guests to the rooms respecting hotel policy and procedures.
  8. Ensure that all customers' queries, special requests, and complaints are handled in a polite, efficient manner while maintaining a consistent high level of customer service. Refers problems to supervisor if unable to assist.
  9. Review arrival lists for all arrivals and VIPs to gain knowledge of guests' profiles and history.

What we need from you

  1. Ideally, you have 1-2 years of similar or relative experience in customer service (hotels preferred).
  2. Excellent English communication skills and well-versed in hotel systems.
