About the Job:

We are seeking a Guest Relations Executive to join the Shimmers team at Jumeirah Mina Al Salam. The main responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining a presence at the restaurant hostess desk to warmly welcome guests and ensure smooth seating and service flow.
2. Managing dining reservations and coordinating special F&B events according to SOPs to optimize table allocation.
3. Assessing guest needs and preferences, providing personalized recommendations, and demonstrating menu knowledge.
4. Promptly meeting guest requests within established timeframes to deliver exceptional service.
5. Having extensive knowledge of in-house services, amenities, and local area information to enhance guest experience.
6. Answering calls within three rings using the JI Standard script, providing professional responses to inquiries and reservations.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

1. At least 1 year of experience as a hostess in a reputable hospitality setting or standalone restaurant.
2. Excellent communication skills to greet guests and relay information effectively.
3. Proficiency in English and a second language such as Spanish, French, Russian, Mandarin, or Italian.
4. Impeccable grooming and professional appearance, adhering to uniform and grooming standards.
