About The Job

Based at Mandarin Oriental Downtown Dubai, the Guest Relations Agent will ensure guest satisfaction by providing courteous and efficient service, meeting and exceeding guest expectations, and managing VIP guest interactions. The role reports to the Guest Relations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist with VIP room inspections, guest greetings, amenities, and daily operations.
• Monitor guest preferences, manage inventory and billing, and support the Front Office during busy periods.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and industry standards through inspections and audits.
• Build personal connections with guests, track arrivals and departures, and proactively address guest needs.
• Collaborate with departments, provide coaching, and foster teamwork to ensure smooth operations and staff satisfaction.
• Deliver exceptional service, handle complaints, perform check-ins/outs, and create memorable "WOW" moments aligned with MOHG's Legendary Quality Experiences.

Candidate Profile

• Senior school qualification with at least 2 years experience in a 5-star hotel, including 1 year in Front Office; experience in the Middle East or pre-opening is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, PSMS, and Front Office systems.
• Effective communication skills in English; additional languages like Arabic are preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver high-level customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
