Guest Relations Supervisor Job Description

As a Guest Relations Supervisor, you will be responsible for representing the hotel both within and outside the workplace, overseeing guest relations operations, and ensuring that hotel standards and procedures are adhered to. Your role includes providing personalized service to guests, managing stock levels, supervising guest relations sections, and ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and high-quality service. You will also handle guest complaints professionally, ensure privacy and confidentiality, and promote hotel loyalty programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Represent the hotel in a professional manner both internally and externally.
  2. Oversee guest relations operations, ensuring standards and procedures are followed.
  3. Provide personalized service to guests, maintaining high standards.
  4. Manage stock levels and prepare requisitions for smooth operations.
  5. Supervise guest relations sections at all times.
  6. Ensure guests are warmly welcomed and enjoy their stay.
  7. Respect guest privacy and confidentiality.
  8. Act as a representative of management in handling guest complaints and team difficulties.
  9. Resolve guest complaints professionally and ensure guest satisfaction.
  10. Personally welcome guests and escort them as needed.
  11. Maintain cleanliness and maintenance standards.
  12. Use appropriate materials, equipment, and supplies.
  13. Follow proper telephone etiquette per hotel standards.
  14. Engage with guests in the public areas to build relationships.
  15. Report all guest comments or complaints and be aware of VIP guests.
  16. Properly use all equipment and PMS systems.
  17. Follow daily checklists and billing procedures.
  18. Respect schedules, deadlines, and communicate updates to the team.
  19. Conduct daily briefings and promote loyalty programs.
  20. Maintain high team morale and flexibility to rotate within different sub-sections.
  21. Perform any other duties assigned by the Guest Relations Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the Russian language is mandatory.
