Job summary

Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park is seeking a service-oriented Room Attendant to join our team in Dubai. You will clean and service guest rooms, change linens, and respond to guest requests while maintaining IHG standards.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, able to lift up to 23 kg, and flexible to a rotating schedule, including evenings and weekends. The role emphasizes cleanliness, efficiency, and outstanding guest care.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and move during shifts.
• Capable of lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs) safely.
• Able to bend, kneel, stretch, and perform repetitive movements.
• Basic literacy and numeracy; able to read instructions and complete records.
• Flexible to a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, reliability and commitment to guest service.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, and corridors to IHG brand standards, ensuring areas are spotless and guest-ready.
• Change bed linen, make beds, replenish amenities, and ensure all room equipment is functioning.
• Conduct daily room inspections and report maintenance defects or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Respond to guest requests and deliver additional amenities as required.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, linen rooms, and storage areas in a clean, organized, stocked condition.
• Report and submit all lost and found items per hotel procedures and security requirements.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team and other departments to ensure timely room availability and guest satisfaction.
• Identify and report damaged, stained, or worn linen and furnishings to maintain standards.
