Job summary

Daikan Izakaya - Galleria Mall Abu Dhabi is seeking a motivated Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional guest service, and help run a smooth, high-standard dining room.

You will supervise staff, assist in training, manage shifts, monitor inventory, and uphold health and safety policies while delivering consistent, friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills to drive team performance.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Good organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations specific to food service.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Directly oversee staff performance during shifts, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Monitor guest experience and address any issues or concerns promptly to maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.
• Assist in training new staff members, sharing knowledge about service standards, menu items, and processes.
• Assist in scheduling and managing staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
• Help track inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies and managing stock levels efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, as well as company policies, to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Assist in reporting on operational performance, customer feedback, and staff performance to upper management.
