Daikan Izakaya Dubai is seeking a warm and welcoming Hostess to join our team. You will be the first friendly face guests meet, setting the tone for an inviting dining experience and coordinating seating to keep service flowing smoothly.

The role requires hospitality experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage reservations and adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional and cheerful demeanor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a hostess or in a similar customer service role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in managing reservations and wait lists.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanour as they arrive at the restaurant.
• Ensure a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently coordinating seating to optimise the dining room flow.
• Provide guests with information about daily specials, chef recommendations and our menu offerings.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly ensuring their needs are met and assisting with any special requests.
• Work closely with the waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service throughout the dining experience.
• Keep the host station and dining areas tidy and organised creating a welcoming environment.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
