Job summary

Emirates is seeking a Junior GSE Maintenance Assistant to support equipment and aircraft maintenance activities at our Dubai hub. You will assist with maintenance tasks, equipment provisioning, and daily inspections under supervision, ensuring safety and compliance with laid-down procedures.

The role requires basic engineering knowledge, 1 year of experience in engineering, and strong English reading/writing skills.

Qualifications

Basic working knowledge of electrical, mechanical or general engineering and maintenance activities.
Must be able to read, write and communicate proficiently in English.

Responsibilities

Inform supervisor / team leader of difficulties or obstructions.
Assist in arranging aircraft maintenance support equipment as advised by supervisor / team leader.
Assist in daily inspection of all equipment as per instructions.
Assist in provision of aircraft access equipment as instructed by supervisor / team leader.
Assist in carrying out maintenance/repair work on equipment as directed.
Convey requests or queries from customers to supervisor / team leader clearly.
Perform housekeeping in work areas and take proper care of tools and equipment.
Ensure instructions are understood and followed with regards to tasks and timings.
Work safely and seek assistance when in doubt.
Communicate completed/pending task information to supervisor / team leader accurately.
