Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a field supervisor to lead and supervise GRP/FRP sectional tank installation and assembly at project sites across the UAE. You will review drawings, inspect foundations, and coordinate with MEP contractors.

Responsibilities include water filling, leakage testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, preparing reports, and supporting after-installation services. Travel UAE-wide; UAE driving license preferred; UAE/GCC project experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/bachelor's in Mechanical, Civil, MEP Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on GRP/FRP tank installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of sectional GRP water tanks and associated accessories.
• Experience in tank testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read technical/GA drawings.
• UAE/GCC project experience preferred.
• UAE driving license preferred.
• Good English communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise GRP/FRP sectional tank installation and assembly at project sites.
• Review tank drawings, specifications, panel layouts, and installation manuals.
• Inspect foundations and site conditions before installation.
• Supervise installation of GRP panels, supports, tie rods, bolts, gaskets, sealants, manholes, ladders, and accessories.
• Coordinate tank connections with MEP/piping contractors.
• Conduct water filling, leakage testing, inspection, and commissioning.
• Identify and rectify installation defects and leakage issues.
• Prepare site reports, inspection requests, testing reports, and handover documents.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, and suppliers.
• Supervise technicians and subcontractors.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting after installation.
• Attend future GRP tank maintenance, repair, and warranty service requirements.
• Travel to different UAE project sites whenever required.
