Umdasch Group Ventures invites ambitious students and graduates to join the Growth Ventures Internship in Growth & Ecosystem. You will gain hands-on exposure to market intelligence, startup scouting, and early-stage deal support across built-environment tech, reporting to experienced strategists.

The role offers mentorship, international exposure within a global family business, and the chance to contribute to strategic projects, partnerships, and potential acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Innovation Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong interest in growth strategy, M&A, venture capital, startups, technology trends, and innovation ecosystems
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into concise insights and recommendations
• Experience using AI-powered tools for research, documentation, and analysis
• Structured, proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of professionalism
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Responsabilités

• Support outreach initiatives, meeting preparation, and follow-up activities with external partners
• Conduct structured market and sector research on construction technology, built-environment innovation, and selected growth areas
• Support startup scouting, target identification, and opportunity mapping
• Prepare presentations, research summaries, and management materials for internal stakeholders
• Map the external innovation ecosystem, including accelerators, venture funds, brokers, startup platforms, industry networks, and academic institutions
• Monitor industry developments, market trends, and relevant startup and technology news
• Support the evaluation of potential growth, partnership, investment, and acquisition opportunities
• Assist in maintaining market intelligence databases and tracking strategic developments across target sectors
• Contribute to the preparation of internal business cases, opportunity assessments, and strategic reviews
