Key Responsibilities
- Work with SQL Server and related technologies to support data migrations, transformations, and integrations with third-party tools such as Funnel, Branch, and Google Analytics.
- Design and implement data models, automation systems, and reporting structures that enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
- Build and maintain dynamic dashboards in Power BI, Looker, and other visualization tools to track key performance metrics and uncover trends.
- Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, engineering, and visualization to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Turn complex datasets into clear, compelling narratives through storytelling techniques that influence business strategies and decision-making.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and provide data-driven recommendations that enhance customer growth and retention.
- Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget, and business growth within your department and design scalable solutions to meet these needs.
- Communicate insights effectively by translating technical findings into easy-to-understand reports, presentations, and recommendations for executives and key stakeholders.
- Leverage modern data transformation technologies (e.g., XML, JSON, CSV, SQL) to improve data quality and reporting automation.
- Implement error logging and monitoring solutions to ensure data integrity across all platforms.
- Maintain data governance and ensure data hygiene in BigQuery to support accurate reporting and analytics.
Qualifications & Skills
Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Python for data processing, modeling, and automation.
- Experience in data mining, predictive analytics, and statistical analysis to uncover key insights.
- Working experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, etc.) and the ability to create engaging dashboards.
- Understanding of cloud-based data architectures (Google BigQuery, AWS, Azure) and experience working with large datasets.
- Ability to perform complex queries and data transformations involving multiple tables, subqueries, and joins.
- Familiarity with ETL pipelines and automation tools to streamline reporting and data flow.
Analytical & Business Acumen
- Strong ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations that drive revenue and customer engagement.
- Experience in leveraging data insights to support growth strategies, customer segmentation, and retention initiatives.
- Ability to design A/B tests and performance tracking frameworks to measure the impact of business decisions.
Storytelling & Communication Skills
- Exceptional ability to communicate insights through compelling narratives, clear visuals, and concise presentations.
- Experience working closely with business leaders, marketers, and product teams to translate data findings into strategies.
- Ability to simplify complex data insights for non-technical stakeholders and drive data-driven decision-making across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience working extensively with SQL, Python, and analytics tools.
- Experience in Retail Analytics, Digital analytics, E-commerce is highly preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities effectively.
