Job summary

CommonLit is a nonprofit education technology organization focused on ensuring every student develops essential reading, writing, and problem-solving skills. We are seeking a results-driven marketer to convert free users into paid partnerships and to own end-to-end lead generation across web, email, in-product, and paid channels.

You will optimize campaigns, manage channels, and report on performance, collaborating with Growth, Product Marketing, Retention, and Sales to expand paid partnerships

Qualifications

• Experience in lead generation and channel management.
• Proficiency in SEO/AEO and competitor strategy.
• Bias for action and experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Convert free-user momentum into paid partnership opportunities.
• Work across owned channels (web, email, in-product) and paid channels (social ads) to identify school adoption readiness.
• Build campaigns, pages, and nudges to build the Sales pipeline.
• Own lead generation strategy end to end, including channel management, regional outreach, AEO/SEO, and competitor strategy.
• Report on channel performance and effectiveness.
• Partner with Growth, Product Marketing, Retention, and Sales teams to move free users toward paid partnerships.
