At Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah, a Groups, Conference and Events Executive is responsible for managing groups and events at the hotel, serving as the intermediary between the customer and the hotel's commercial and operational teams. This role involves acting as the primary contact for clients during their event, collaborating with the hotel to meet set goals.

What will I be doing?

As a Groups, Conference and Events Executive, you will handle all aspects of event management from initial contact with clients to contract preparation, event execution, and post-event follow-up. Key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving and updating information on groups and events
  • Drafting contracts for groups and events
  • Entering rooming lists, updating payment instructions, and recording relevant information
  • Negotiating budgets with clients
  • Developing Event Work Orders with all necessary details
  • Conducting briefings with clients regarding event specifics
  • Generating monthly reports and closing group accounts
  • Coordinating with Account Managers, Sales, Reservations, Front Desk, Departments, Hilton Meetings, and Kitchen
  • Engaging directly with guests or clients during events
  • Participating in special activities like cocktail receptions and welcome tours
  • Ensuring prompt and efficient response to client requests

  • Degree or MBA in Management, Hospitality, or Marketing
  • Experience in sales, groups, and events, preferably within hospitality
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Proactive attitude to meet deadlines and objectives
