Job summary

OX Human Resources Consultancies is seeking a Treasury Officer to oversee the daily treasury operations across 30+ group entities, ensuring liquidity, efficient fund allocation, timely payments and accurate cash reporting.

The role includes bank relationships, cash forecasting, intercompany transfers and strict adherence to internal controls, with cashier duties, reconciliations and ERP treasury improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of treasury, cashier or finance experience.
• Experience in multi-company or group treasury environment.
• Knowledge of cash management, banking operations and payment controls.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Kingdee, etc.).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash balances across 30+ group companies.
• Consolidate daily cash positions and prepare Group cash reports.
• Forecast short-term cash requirements and ensure sufficient liquidity.
• Coordinate intercompany fund transfers according to operational needs.
• Optimize cash utilization to minimize idle funds.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing cash flows and identify liquidity risks.
• Review and process payment requests from all subsidiaries.
• Ensure payments are supported by proper approvals and documentation.
• Arrange local and international bank transfers.
• Prioritize payments based on cash availability and business requirements.
• Ensure all supplier, payroll, tax and statutory payments are made on time.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Prepare treasury reports for management.
• Analyze cash movements and provide explanations for significant variances.
• Support management with liquidity planning and financing decisions.
• Maintain relationships with banks.
• Coordinate bank account opening, closing and maintenance.
• Manage online banking platforms and user access.
• Handle bank documentation including KYC updates and compliance requirements.
• Liaise with banks regarding payment issues and operational matters.
• Process daily receipts and payments accurately.
• Maintain bank books and cash transaction records.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations.
• Verify payment supporting documents before processing.
• Maintain proper filing of payment records.
• Monitor cheque issuance (if applicable).
• Manage petty cash according to company policy.
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
• Ensure treasury activities comply with company policies.
• Maintain segregation of duties throughout payment processes.
• Assist internal and external auditors.
• Support implementation and improvement of treasury controls.
• Ensure compliance with local banking regulations.
• Improve treasury workflows and payment efficiency.
• Support treasury digitalization and automation initiatives.
• Assist in ERP treasury module implementation and optimization.
• Recommend process improvements to strengthen cash management.
