Job description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Administer, troubleshoot, and manage network security solutions implemented in Shared Security Hubs, including next-generation firewalls, web application firewalls, security incident monitoring, etc.
2. Provide prompt assistance to the BUs for any new requirements or network support concerns.
3. Fine-tune and implement configuration changes to security controls as per requirements.
4. Carry out infrastructure-related vulnerability assessments of IT systems to identify potential vulnerabilities, make recommendations to control identified risks, and work with those individuals to ensure they are implemented.
5. Respond rapidly and effectively to IT security incidents, managing them as per DPW incident management lifecycle, including performing forensics for evidence gathering and preservation.
6. Periodically conduct risk assessments for existing firewall rules and for new change requests submitted by the business.
7. Maintain and monitor site-to-site connectivity established with global DP World sites.
8. Work closely with internal teams (Network, Windows, Linux, BU IT) to continuously improve security posture in DP World group.
9. Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards, and recommend best practices applicable to DP World group.
10. Act as an ambassador for DP World, promoting positive behaviors in harmony with its principles, values, and culture, and ensuring the highest level of safety in all activities.
11. Understand and follow DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.
12. Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS

1. Knowledge and Experience
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
3. At least 5 years of experience in IT, with a focus on Network Security and managing security solutions.
4. Hands-on experience with CheckPoint, Fortinet solutions, Check Point MultiDomain, and Azure Security.
5. Experience with data leakage prevention solutions, next-generation firewalls, web application firewalls, OT/IoT security.
6. Good understanding of cloud security (Azure, AWS, etc.) is desirable.
7. Ability to adapt in complex environments, with a drive to learn new skills independently.
8. Industry-recognized certifications such as CCSA, CCSE, Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator, etc., are preferred.
9. Experience in creating technical documentation for security tools and procedures.
10. Good understanding of e-commerce, logistics, supply chain, port operations applications is an advantage.
11. Experience working with multinational companies (MNCs) is preferable.
