DP World is seeking a Group Senior Compliance and Data Privacy Manager to lead compliance initiatives and develop privacy policies in accordance with international standards. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in global compliance roles, maintaining ethical standards while driving organizational compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities
* Interpret evolving global compliance regulations and proactively assess their impact on the organization
* Develop and implement data privacy policies aligned with international legal standards (e.g., GDPR, PDPL, etc.)
* Design and deploy operating procedures covering consent management, data processing, and breach response
* Support compliance across anti-bribery, sanctions, and antitrust domains through policy and control frameworks
* Conduct and lead periodic compliance risk assessments and improvement planning
* Deliver regular training sessions and updates to internal stakeholders on data privacy and compliance best practices
* Coordinate with regional offices and departments to ensure adherence to DP World s global compliance policies
* Oversee audits of compliance certification processes and respond to external KYC or certification inquiries
* Report key findings and risks to the Head of Group Compliance and leadership team
* Act as a compliance ambassador, aligning all activities with the organization s ethical standards and founder s principles
Requirements
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or related fields; JD or LLM preferred
* 7 10 years of experience in global compliance or privacy management roles within multinational companies
* Familiarity with regulatory environments across UAE, UK, EU, China, and India
* Certified compliance or privacy professional (e.g., CIPP, CIPM) is advantageous
Skills:
* In-depth knowledge of global data protection laws and regulatory trends
* Strong communication, collaboration, and risk assessment skills
* Ability to manage change, implement new processes, and handle complex investigations
* Self-directed with exceptional attention to detail and strategic foresight
* Proficient in compliance software and general office productivity tools
