Job Description

  • Renewals
  • Work on the allocated renewal files
  • Classify the high priority files based on criteria set
  • Arrange renewal terms from the insurers
  • Send reminders to the clients 60 days prior to expiry
  • Review the previous policy and complete the renewal worksheet
  • Take alternative quotes wherever required
  • Update all discussions and follow-ups on IIRIS
  • Update renewal status on IIRIS
  • Accept feedback from the client and work accordingly
  • Accept client confirmations to renew policies
  • Collect outstanding medical & renewal payments from clients at placement
  • Provide periodic updates on the status of renewals to the team leader
  • Escalate any threats to renewal to the team leader and account handlers
  • Coordinate and communicate with the team leader and account handlers
  • Achieve a renewal ratio of 85%

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Personality

  • Bachelor’s or diploma graduate with 1-3 years of related experience, preferably in insurance
  • Insurance qualifications and certificates are a plus; good understanding of medical insurance plans
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to build positive relationships with high interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Team player, hardworking, ambitious, and driven to succeed
