Job Purpose :
The Enterprise Risk Manager will play an integral role in implementing a robust risk and resilience environment. The role involves supporting the Enterprise Risk and Resilience team in executing risk programs across the Group.
The ideal candidate must possess strong knowledge and experience in facilitating Enterprise Risk Management within a large multinational organization. This includes conducting risk workshops, analyzing data to identify risk trends, and creating detailed management reports and dashboards.
This role requires significant engagement across all business areas and locations to ensure key risks are properly assessed and managed.
Supporting DP World’s ERM Framework, the successful candidate will help roll out the annual risk & internal controls self-assessment program. Experience in implementing internal control frameworks is essential.
Key Accountabilities :
- Facilitate the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Policy and Frameworks across the DP World Group.
- Coordinate with Business Units, Regional offices, Divisions, and Corporate Functions to identify key risks and maintain risk registers.
- Collaborate with risk champions to review and monitor risks, ensuring detailed analysis during quarterly reviews.
- Analyze data across regions and divisions to identify key risk themes and trends for escalation.
- Challenge and validate risks, controls, and assessments, ensuring proper classification and relevant mitigation actions.
- Prepare risk intelligence and analysis reports for senior management.
- Assist in enhancing the ERM system to support risk management activities and analytics.
- Facilitate risk identification workshops at DP World locations.
- Review and update the DPW risk category universe regularly.
- Work with internal departments to conduct ad hoc risk assessments and review mitigation controls for effectiveness.
- Conduct research and horizon scanning to identify current and emerging risks.
- Organize ERM training and awareness sessions for relevant staff.
- Collaborate with Group Internal Audit to ensure risk appetite and ERM compliance.
- Promote DP World’s principles, values, and culture, emphasizing safety and ethical conduct.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 5 years of relevant ERM experience.
- Experience in ERM within the logistics industry, influencing senior leaders, and working with cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of ERM standards such as ISO 31000 and COSO ERM.
- Strong project and program management skills.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in facilitating and influencing at senior levels.
- Ability to work effectively with global teams.
