A leading company in the UAE is hiring a Group Logistics Manager to support strategic growth across various sectors. This role involves managing teams, developing logistics plans, and requires extensive experience in major Build or Civil Engineering projects, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
Reporting into the Logistics Director for the group, you will essentially be his 2IC.
The organization has experienced a 29% uplift in turnover & awarded work over the past 12 months, making this a strategic appointment to support further growth and future success as they expand into new sectors and geographical areas.
This Group comprises 6 Divisions, each with independent P&L and business targets. However, all divisions collaborate on strategic bids and project success, as they are one of the few genuine organizations in the UAE offering clients a comprehensive, one-stop shop. This enables them to control risk and provide clients with cost certainty and quality throughout the project lifecycle, from bid to handover.
The hiring Director expects you to be client-facing, manage a team, develop innovative traffic management and logistics plans, and create or amend delivery models to ensure on-site success. Experience with multi-million projects and joint ventures is highly desirable.
