Job description

We are working with a fast-growing start-up business within the media and entertainment sector. They specialise in the gaming industry using AI and innovative technology solutions to provide an incredibly engaging experience. As the group continues to grow at a tremendous pace, our client is looking to add another commercially astute lawyer to its team based in Dubai.

As group Legal Counsel, you will report directly to the CEO, where you will be expected to provide legal advice, guidance, direction, and partnership across a wide variety of legal matters and across different departments. Successful candidates will be expected to perform day-to-day tasks in areas such as corporate M&A, employment, blockchain-related agreements, tokenisation, and regulatory compliance matters. You will also be expected to have experience in corporate governance and be familiar with the UAE legal system as well as working across multiple jurisdictions globally.

It is essential that candidates have at least 5 PQE, having trained either in a law firm or in-house. Previous experience gained in the gaming industry would be highly advantageous.
