GROUP LEADER MAINTENANCE

Job Summary

Provide a short overview of the role. The primary function of this role is to ensure maintenance and compliance with safety and environmental standards. The role involves active participation in project teams and supports the development of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001, and 22301 standards.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Monitor compliance with employee protection laws, safety regulations, and environmental norms.
  2. Maintain mechanical structures of machines and systems.
  3. Provide personnel leadership and responsibility.
  4. Perform maintenance on mechanical and electronic systems, including inspections, cleaning, and lubrication.
  5. Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and automation systems, including robot-controlled production systems and associated technologies.
  6. Integrate robot systems and automation components into production processes.
  7. Conduct functional and performance tests, troubleshoot, and optimize control programs.
  8. Participate in planning and implementing modernization and expansion projects.
  9. Support employee training on new automation technologies.
  10. Implement Industry 4.0 technologies such as 3D printing, AMR, predictive maintenance, and simulation.
  11. Collaborate to optimize processes and meet business system requirements.
  12. Ensure compliance with quality and management systems standards.

Qualifications

  1. Completed training as an automation technician, electrical technician, mechatronics technician, or similar qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  2. Several years of professional experience in industrial automation, preferably with management responsibilities.
  3. Knowledge of mechanical or electrical CAD systems (e.g., Creo Direct), robot system programming (e.g., Mitsubishi, Stäubli, Epson), and automation components.
  4. Understanding of machine safety, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  5. Experience with Bihler technologies (punching, welding, bending), system technologies (servo technology, troubleshooting in Bihler systems), STIWA assembly technology, and cam-controlled drive systems.
  6. Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication skills, flexibility, resilience, and proficiency in German and English.
