Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Group Financial Controller to lead the preparation of consolidated management accounts and deliver high-quality financial reporting and analysis across our group of companies. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in group-level MIS, financial controls, and board-level reporting, with a demonstrated ability to support executive decision-making through data-driven insights.
Job Profile:
· Lead the preparation, consolidation, and review of monthly management accounts across the group, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with IFRS and internal policies
· Deliver detailed financial analysis and board-level commentary, highlighting key trends, performance drivers, and actionable insights for senior stakeholders
· Oversee the group reporting function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support strategic and operational planning
· Ensure consistent application of accounting policies, strong internal controls, and full compliance with relevant corporate governance standards across all entities
· Coordinate and manage external audit processes, acting as the key liaison with auditors to ensure timely and clean audit outcomes
· Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives within financial reporting, controls, and compliance frameworks to enhance efficiency and transparency
· Supervise and mentor finance teams across the group, driving standardization and high-quality financial practices
· Work closely with the CFO and executive team to support strategic initiatives such as M&A, board presentations, and performance reviews
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications and Skills:
· Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or ACCA with Bachelors Degree.
· Minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification experience in a senior financial control or group finance role.
· Proven track record of managing group financial reporting and MIS in a multi-entity environment.
· Prior experience in the GCC region is highly desirable.
· In-depth knowledge of IFRS, corporate finance principles, and regulatory compliance requirements.
· Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
· Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
· High attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
