Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to lead group-wide consolidation, reporting, and accounting functions. The role requires someone who can manage complex, multi-entity financial operations while contributing to strategic planning and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Consolidate financials across multiple entities and business units in different regions
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Manage general ledger and intercompany reconciliations
• Ensure tax compliance in the UAE, US, and other jurisdictions
• Drive process improvements and system enhancements, including ERP and reporting tools
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
• Support senior management with financial insights and planning

Candidate Profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA or equivalent) with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience
• Strong background in financial consolidation, IFRS, audit, and tax compliance
• Proven experience working in multi-entity, multi-currency environments
• Previous experience in shipping, ship owning, or related maritime sectors is a strong advantage
• Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools such as Power BI and Excel
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage deadlines and team performance
