The Group Finance Manager will lead the finance function across FP&A, treasury, statutory compliance, taxation, audit and commercial finance for multiple Group entities. The role requires solid experience in aviation, aerospace or trading environments, with hands‑on exposure to international transactions, supply chain finance, customs processes, import/export documentation and multi‑entity operations. The individual will act as a key finance business partner to senior management, providing financial insights, driving budgeting and forecasting cycles, strengthening working capital and treasury management, and ensuring robust financial and statutory controls across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
- FP&A, Budgeting and Business Performance
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning cycles.
- Build financial models, scenario analysis and business forecasts.
- Prepare monthly budget vs actual reports with variance commentary.
- Develop KPIs and management dashboards using Advanced Excel and Power BI.
- Support financial analysis for new projects, investments and strategic initiatives.
- Treasury and Working Capital Management
- Manage Group treasury operations, liquidity and cash flow planning.
- Prepare short‑term and long‑term cash flow forecasts.
- Oversee banking relationships, facilities, pricing and negotiations.
- Monitor receivables, payables, inventory and working capital cycles.
- Manage trade finance instruments including LCs, guarantees and import/export financing.
- Statutory Compliance and Taxation (UAE)
- Ensure accurate UAE Corporate Tax computations, filings and documentation.
- Manage VAT return preparation, review, reconciliations and compliance.
- Maintain tax records and documentation for audit and regulatory purposes.
- Monitor changes in UAE tax legislation and assess business impact.
- Ensure compliance with UAE invoicing and statutory requirements.
- UAE Invoicing, Customs and Trade Compliance
- Review commercial invoices, credit notes, debit notes and related documentation.
- Review customs documentation, import/export transactions and landed cost accounting.
- Resolve discrepancies between commercial, customs, logistics and accounting documentation.
- Strengthen financial controls over international trading transactions.
- Audit and Financial Governance
- Lead annual external audits across Group entities.
- Prepare audit schedules and required financial documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors to ensure timely completion.
- Implement corrective actions based on audit observations.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory financial statements.
- Systems, Automation and Reporting
- Improve finance processes through automation and ERP optimisation.
- Build advanced Excel financial models and reporting tools.
- Develop Power BI dashboards for management reporting.
- Participate in ERP enhancement or implementation projects.
Mandatory Requirements
- 8–10 years relevant finance experience, including 3+ years managerial experience.
- Minimum 4 years UAE experience.
- Professional qualification preferred: ACCA / CA / CPA.
- Strong background in Trading, Aviation, Aerospace, Manufacturing or FMCG.
- 2–3 years exposure to SCM, international trade or trade finance.
- Strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling skills.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI – mandatory.
- Strong ERP experience; ERP enhancement or implementation preferred.
- Experience in UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, audit coordination and statutory compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple entities independently; strong stakeholder management skills.
- Valid UAE driving licence – mandatory.
